The beginning of it all.

Here I am, sitting on my little bed in Orem, Utah...beginning a blog. Something I swore I would never do. Blogs are for people that either sit around and have nothing to do, own too many cats, are married, and think that their writing is good enough for everyone to read, right? Nope. Here I am, busy as can be, I am scared of cats, not married, and I'm not really into that whole "I'm a writer" thing. But here it goes. Some pretty big, ripe, yellow lemons were thrown at me last year...instead, I made PINK lemonade.

2010. THE BEST AND WORST OF YEARS.

The things that I learned:
-Love comes into your life when you least expect it
-Money is worth saving
-Once you're down, you got to get back up.
-Education is worth every sweat, blood, tear.
-Children are God's way of telling us that he loves us
-There is no such thing as done....you're always improving yourself
-It's okay to take your time
-Grey's Anatomy owns your Thursday night
-Portland Community College is one of the coolest places to people watch
-Bally's Total Fitness has seen its fair share of my sweat and grumbling
-Sauna's can be substitute vacations to Hawaii and Florida
-Friends can be like sisters
-A sister is your best friend
-It's actually really fun to research about cars when buying one
-Never say "no" to ice-cream on 106 degree summer days
-Lakes are for jumping in
-July 4th is still the best holiday (in my book)
-Heavenly Father answers prayers
